In June 2018, RSSB launched a £300,000 competition to fund a number of feasibility studies focused on improving adhesion forecasting technology.

Three projects were awarded funding to develop novel ideas and innovative solutions that can help the rail industry improve its ability to predict and manage the problem of poor adhesion on the tracks.

On this page you can find out more about the research competition and watch footage from the information day.
